Brewer Introduces the Versa Exam Table

MENOMONEE FALLS, WIS (Feb. 20, 2023) – The Brewer Company, a
leading USA-based clinical furniture manufacturer, today announced it has
introduced the highly adaptable Versa fixed-height exam table to North American
markets. The lineup includes both a standard exam table and a pediatric table.

The new exam table was designed with clinicians’ needs in mind.
Brewer collaborated with hundreds of healthcare professionals from the start to
ensure this exam table was engineered with all the features they value most.

“We involved clinicians, healthcare designers and supply chain
professionals from the very beginning to ensure this exam table was
thoughtfully designed in every way,” said David Bussa, Brewer Company President.
“We are excited to introduce Versa, as it is truly different. Every detail of
its design – from the ergonomic placement and right sizing of the drawers to
its extraordinary configurability – enhances the exam room experience by
improving workflow, efficiency, safety, and patient comfort.”

Versa is the first exam table to effortlessly switch from standard
exam table to pediatric table in minutes, thanks to its easy-connect removable
upholstered top. This offers tremendous flexibility for a clinic to transform
its tables from standard to pediatric, and vice versa, as the patient
population changes. The easy-connect feature also makes switching out an upholstered
top a breeze for infection control purposes or replacement.

Clinicians have come to love the abundant storage space Brewer exam
tables typically offer and Versa is no different. Its extra-large side drawer offers
a generous 3.7-cu-feet of storage, and the front drawer adds an additional 1.0-cu-feet
of space. The table can easily stow all the essentials including gowns, paper rolls,
pillows, blankets, and procedure instruments. Included configurable storage
dividers for the side drawer and optional dividers for the front drawer offer a
customizable solution to meet any clinic’s needs. In all, the table offers 4.7-cu-feet
of storage, more than competitive tables.

When Brewer designed the Versa exam table, clinician health and workflow
needs were placed front and center. Both drawers were strategically placed. The
side drawer’s ergonomic higher location reduces unnecessary bending and
twisting by clinical staff, while the front drawer’s lower location allows
clinicians to access the drawer without getting too close to a patient’s
personal space.

Brewer emphasized patient safety with Versa, as well. Optional
rotating patient assist handles provide extra security and confidence to
patients as they get on and off the exam table, while the large, secure
anti-slip step offers confidence when stepping up to and down from the exam
table.

Versa offers aesthetic refinement, too. Clinicians and patients
will appreciate the modern look of the exam table. With the help of leading healthcare
interior designers, Brewer updated the cabinet color to a contemporary gray –
appealing in any exam room décor.

With the name Versa, it’s not surprising the exam table can be
configured with numerous options and accessories. Stirrups, pelvic tilt, a
hospital grade electric outlet and heater are all options, while patient assist
handles, knee crutches, a paper fastener strap and stainless steel treatment
pan are amongst the available accessories. With so much configurability,
clinics can build their Versa exam tables with the options they need without
having to pay for ones they won’t use.

Versa is rated for a 500-pound patient weight capacity and offers
an industry-best 5-year warranty. Brewer began accepting orders today, with
plans to start production this week from Brewer’s Wisconsin headquarters. To
