The Brewer Company’s new Versa Exam Table won the esteemed “Best of Competition” Nightingale Award during an awards presentation at Healthcare Design Conference + Expo in New Orleans, Nov. 4-7.
Among a record number of 55 product entries, the Versa Exam Table not only took top overall product honor but also clinched the Gold Award in the Furniture: Clinician Support category.
Fourteen executives in the industry served as jurors for the prestigious awards. Jurors were impressed with the thoughtful design of Versa.
“I have not seen anything like this in 15 years,” wrote on juror. “(It) solves a multitude of solutions from workflow to patient assistance in the flexible grab bar arms.”
“Excellent modifications to the standard exam table. Safety feature of the handrails is impressive and easy to use. Drawers are thoughtful and well-intended to meet the needs of clinicians,” wrote another juror. “(These are) much-needed innovations.”
The Nightingale Awards, presented by Healthcare Design magazine in partnership with The Center for Health Design and the HCD Conference, honor products introduced to the U.S. market after November 2022. These products are evaluated for their design and innovation in contributing to healing, with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, quality, and sustainability.
